What
states does Senior American Services (SAS) work in?
There are programs available in all 50 States.
How
does a new agent get chosen for this program?
Only experienced senior market agents with a solid
understanding of how to sell effectively are chosen for
this program. We do not offer sales training to agents.
What
is your target market?
The target market is individual seniors over the age of
65 with an income above $30,000 per year.
What
type of products will I sell?
You will sell LTC, HHC, Hospital Indemnity, Final
Expense, and Medicare Supplement Insurance. You also
will provide Annuities and non-insurance programs such
as, medical discount programs and home health care
service contracts.
How
much does this program cost?
There is no out of pocket cost for you. We make the
initial investment and continue to work with you as long
as we receive the minimum required production each
month.
What
type of agent does this program work for?
SAS works for agents who write at least $6,000 worth of
premium per month before they start with us. We look for
agents that work a minimum of four days (4 full days)
per week and are very reliable. This type of agent
doubles their production within the first month on the
program and consistently produces on a weekly basis.
How
can I get started?
You can work with us as long as you fit into the
criteria and work in the regions we have available.
Start up will only take a few days. First, the paperwork
required must be complete and product supplies received
from our companies.
Will I
be a captive agent?
As an SAS agent, you must understand and agree to write
our leads/appointments with our companies. You also must
agree to focus each day on selling, on being
professional, and building a large clientele in the
senior market. You will not be a captive agent on our
program.
How
much does SAS expect me to produce?
There is a monthly production requirement based on the
region and main product line you choose. Before you
begin, we review your minimum production requirement.
Agents who work our program consistently become the top
producers for the insurance companies we work with.
How
will SAS target new prospects for me?
Within the regions we have available, you provide us
with the areas (zip codes) you want to work in, and the
products you would like to sell. Based on that
information, we design a direct mail program and
purchase phone lists of people in that target market.
Will I
still need to worry about the do not call regulations?
All lists purchased are in compliance with the do not
call regulations and are constantly updated. Plus, most
of the clients we schedule appointments with have
personally requested more information on the products
you sell.
Who
sets my appointments?
Our in-house marketing call center sets, monitors, and
confirms all of the appointments. Each appointment is
set only one day in advance.
How
will I receive my leads/appointments?
All of your appointments are posted on this website. You
retrieve them by entering a password. You will utilize
this website to communicate with the call center, report
results, new sales, and provide vital feedback.
How
many leads/appointments should I expect to receive each
day?
You should expect 3 to 4 appointments each day. Also,
you will receive prospects' returned direct mail
response, which will be faxed to you. Plus, we provide
back-up appointments, because no shows and door
cancellations are expected.
Are
there weekly meetings to attend with SAS?
No, you are in control of your schedule by telling us
where and when you want your appointments scheduled.
Where
do I order supplies?
You order supplies directly from the insurance
companies.
Where
do I send new business?
All new business is sent by you directly to the
insurance company you sold. That same company sends all
new issued business and correspondence directly to you.
This avoids unnecessary lag time.
How
are my commissions paid?
Commission is paid directly to you by the insurance
company you sold. You will receive all first year
commission and renewal commission from the insurance
company as earned. Remember, all of your renewals are
vested from day one.
